Today I was kind of bored, so I just decided I would write a story for the blog. It's pretty short, too. Here it is:

Justin liked to play video games. He liked to play them a lot. After doing homework, instead of playing with toys or playing outside, he would sit in front of the T.V. and play video games. His mom greatly disapproved. "You should get some fresh air or play with your new toys!" She constantly told him. He never listened. He did not care that his mom did not want him to spend his time playing video games. That soon changed. One day he got home from school and did his regular routine of doing homework and playing video games. But today as he played a strange light came out of the T.V. and sucked him into the game. "Help!" Justin cried as he watched the race cars from the game whiz past him. "Can anyone hear me?!" He soon found out no one could hear him. As he dodged the race cars coming down the track, he wondered if he would ever see his mom again. If I ever get back home I will never play a video game again. He thought to himself. As soon as he thought this the strange light returned and whisked him back in front of the T.V. "Dinner time!" His mom called. "Mom!" Justin called and ran to give her a hug. "Okay...." His mom said, puzzled. "I'm so glad to see you!"He said. But his mom didn't mind because for the rest of Justin's childhood he never played a single video game again.

I wrote this story because my younger brother Cole adores video games, so hopefully if he ever reads this he will never want to play a video game again. Hopefully.

Dukes the Detective: Episode

In my other post I showed a commercial for Dukes the Detective and we FINALLY got it to work. Enjoy!

We will probably come up with new episodes and if so, I will post them.

Dukes the Detective

So below is a commercial for the show my siblings and I made, Dukes the Detective. If you were wondering where we got that name, let me explain. In the show my younger brother Cole is the detective, but dad's nickname for Cole is Dukes, so we just decided that is what we'd call it. Enjoy!

We tried to get the actual episode on here, but that didn't work. So I will try to get the first episode on the next post or as soon as possible.

Doctor Who

So I watch this show called "Doctor Who". I bet at least some of you know this show, but if you don't here's a basic summary: Doctor Who is a sci-fi show about the last time lord (The Doctor) who travels through time in his TARDIS. Along the way he picks up companions who join him in his adventures. Though he looks like a regular guy, he survives fatal injuries by "regenerating" which changes his entire body.

I have some pictures of the doctor, and keep in mind he regenerates, so these pictures show him in different forms.

First Form                Second Form              Third Form

Everytime the Doctor regenerates, mom starts crying. Honestly, I like the second Doctor a WHOLE lot better than the other two and so does mom. I think she thinks he's cute. Here are the actors names: Cristopher Eccleston, David Tennant, and Matt (Matthew) Smith. They all have different attitudes, which make them really funny. I highly recomend watching Doctor Who (On Netflix so you can go in order)

Recomendation

Hello, again. Today I want to recomend a website that a kid I know named John Remmers made. This website may not appeal to adults, but kids who like video games may appreciate this website. It gives good advice about video games. John would like some support, so please comment on his website if possible. Here is the website:

This is John's second post, but when you go on his website there will be an obvios button that will show you the first post. Hope you enjoy!

2 poems to read

On this blog I will basically show you poems and parts of stories that I write, or I'll recomend books. So now that I've perpared you for what you will see on this blog, I'd like to share two poems I made at school recently. Before I let you read the first poem, be sure to remember this is a THING in the poem. It's called personification, if you did not know. Oh, and try to guess what the poem is about.

Colorful is my special friend,

He likes to twist and turn and bend,

His face can be different colors (none of which are dim.)

People try to solve him out,

Find his true colors and what he's about.

But I have figured him out long ago,

When in a package he appeared at my door.

Answer: Rubick's Cube

Here is the next poem, which you do not have to guess what it's about.

He may be small,

But he's the biggest of them all,

Because of his big, fat, heart.

He may not speak so well,

But he's sweet and he's swell,

Because of his big, fat, heart.

When you are with him,

You find he's not really dim,

Because of his big, fat, heart.

In a wheelchair he may ride,

But you'll always be at his side,

Because of his big, fat, heart.

To him they may tease,

But if they knew him they'd cease,

Because of his big, fat, heart.

So if you want to comment about these poems or anything else, feel free to. Thanks.
