Justin liked to play video games. He liked to play them a lot. After doing homework, instead of playing with toys or playing outside, he would sit in front of the T.V. and play video games. His mom greatly disapproved. "You should get some fresh air or play with your new toys!" She constantly told him. He never listened. He did not care that his mom did not want him to spend his time playing video games. That soon changed. One day he got home from school and did his regular routine of doing homework and playing video games. But today as he played a strange light came out of the T.V. and sucked him into the game. "Help!" Justin cried as he watched the race cars from the game whiz past him. "Can anyone hear me?!" He soon found out no one could hear him. As he dodged the race cars coming down the track, he wondered if he would ever see his mom again. If I ever get back home I will never play a video game again. He thought to himself. As soon as he thought this the strange light returned and whisked him back in front of the T.V. "Dinner time!" His mom called. "Mom!" Justin called and ran to give her a hug. "Okay...." His mom said, puzzled. "I'm so glad to see you!"He said. But his mom didn't mind because for the rest of Justin's childhood he never played a single video game again.
I wrote this story because my younger brother Cole adores video games, so hopefully if he ever reads this he will never want to play a video game again. Hopefully.
